BUILDING DEDICATION First Baptist Church in Oviedo dedicated its 2,900- seat worship center June 7. Pastor Dwayne Mercer led the service that included local elected officials and the construction team. The new facility incorporates a state of the art sound system for use in blended and contemporary services. Almost 30,000 square feet of the building are for use by preschool and adult small groups. GIRLS IN ACTION Lake Mystic Baptist Church, Bristol (Apalachee Association) had a recognition service for their Girls in Action on May 31. The girls shared about the mission projects in which they have participated this year. Each girl received a GA charm bracelet and charm for completing a WorldVenture workbook. Badges were also earned for participating in mission projects and studies.
