University Baptist Church will host a Youth Music Concert and Dinner April 21 at 7 p.m. Participants are asked to bring food and toiletry items to donate to the Boys and Girls Town of Oviedo. First Baptist Church in Orange Park will host a Battle Ready Men’s Conference May 5-6. First Baptist Church in Altoona will celebrate its 128th Homecoming April 22. Blue Angel Baptist Church has called Kenneth W. Loubriel as pastor. A graduate of Baptist College of Florida, he served as a church planter and founded Green Acres Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach in 2003. He also served as pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in Pensacola. Loubriel currently serves as facilities manager at Cinco Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach and will serve Blue Angel Baptist bivocationally. He and his wife, Debbie, have three children and four grandchildren. Lakeview Baptist Church in Pensacola will meet in revival April 13-15 in celebration of the church’s 49th anniversary. David Burton, director of the Evangelism Division of the Florida Baptist Convention, will preach, and Pat Mobley, minister to senior adults at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Pensacola, will lead the music. Southside Baptist Church in Sarasota will host the Southwest Florida Conference on Evangelism and Soul Winning April 23. Church pastors and staff members are invited to a Q and A session with the speakers at 4 p.m. before a complimentary dinner.
