Riverside Baptist Church in Havana will celebrate its 29th anniversary June 3. Howard Adams, director of missions of the Gadsden County Baptist Association, will speak in the 10:45 a.m. worship service. For more information, call 850-422-2443.


Arabic Baptist Church of Central Florida will meet in revival May 25-27 with Pastor Nabeel Rezk. Meeting times are Friday, 5-8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m; Sunday 10:15 a.m. The Sunday meeting will include three congregations and pastors: Arabic Baptist, Pastor Rezk; Southside Baptist Church, Pastor Clayton J. Glaze; Orlando Baptist Church of Philos, Pastor Paul Kim. SURRENDER Morristown Baptist Church held a groundbreaking service for its new building May 6. During the ceremony, church members placed white flags of surrender at the site. The 230-member church, which currently meets in two worship services on Sunday mornings, is relocating from SE 33rd Street “just around the corner” to Highway 41 in Morriston, according to a church press release. Leonia Baptist Church in Westville will celebrate homecoming June 3 at 10:30 a.m. Former Leonia Baptist deacon and current Glendale Baptist Church Pastor Uvonne Carroll will preach and The Staffords will sing. The congregation will honor the late Clayton Smith who sawed and donated the rafters for the church building in 1946. Lunch will be served following the service. The Student Choir of First Baptist Church in High Springs will present “Let It be Said of Us” in a dinner theatre June 3 at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will help fund the 35-member choir’s mission trip to Anniston, Alabama, where will work on a construction project and host a block party at the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home. First Baptist Church in Milton has called Biron (Bo) Mills as minister to students. He, his wife, Chantel, and three children will move to Milton from Prattville, Ala., where he served with Camellia Baptist Church 12 years. Mills is a graduate of University of Mobile (Ala.) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.


First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks in Largo will hold auditions June 19, 7-9 p.m., for lead roles in its Summer Musical Theatre Workshop production of “Fiddler on the Roof.” Workshop dates are July 2-6 and 9-13, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and performances are at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. July 14 in the Fellowship Center.
