HOLMES COUNTY

The Holmes County Ministerial Association, which includes many Baptist pastors, will host a Panhandle Patriotic Celebration on the evening of July 1 at the Recreation Center in Bonifay. For more information call 850-326-0097.

JACKSONVILLE

MANATEE SOUTHERN

First Baptist Church in Palmetto has called two new staff members. Kel Conrad is education, outreach pastor. A member of First Baptist for seven years, he previously served as principal of Bradenton Christian School. He is a graduate of Columbia (S.C.)  International University. He and his wife, Julie, have two children. Scott Perkins is minister of music. He has served as band director at middle and high schools and holds a B.A. degree from Virginia University. He and his wife, Cyndi, have two adult children.

West Bradenton Baptist Church has called Jenny Funderburke as minister to children. She is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Funderburke previously served 10 years at a church in Alabaster, Ala. She and her husband, Nathan, have two daughters.

SUNCOAST
