‘The Promise’ to be performed at BCF March 21

GRACEVILLE (BCF)—The Music and Worship Division at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville has announced the dates for a special production of “The Promise” March 21 at 7 p.m. in the Wellness Center. 

“The Promise” originating in 1989 from Glen Rose, Texas, is a musical drama that centers on the life of Christ including his birth, life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. It is told through the perspective of a grandfather to his grandchildren surrounding a campfire on the Paluxy River in Glen Rose, Texas.

The program is a reenactment with the college choir, College Winds, College Singers, Male Chorale, Women’s Ensemble and the musical drama class coming together for the performance. The production will be fully staged with props and biblical costumes as the “greatest story ever told” comes to life.
