BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (FBW)—The annual Healthcare Missions Conference of the Baptist Medical Dental Fellowship will be held in the Student Building of the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Ala., April 11-13.
The meeting is designed for healthcare professionals, medical residents, students and free clinic volunteers who use their healthcare skills in local churches, clinics, and in international medical and dental projects. Workshops and sessions will include training for veteran workers and rookies, and medical missionaries from Africa and Asia will share reports from the field, according to a BMDF press release.
The BMDF conference will be held simultaneously with the Baptist Nursing Fellowship, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary during the Birmingham meeting.
