Emerald Coast Baptist Association, with offices in Valparaiso, has called Roy Saint as director of missions. He previously served as associate team strategist in the Church Leadership Development Group of the Florida Baptist Convention. Saint also serves as director of extension learning of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary at Baptist College of Florida in Graceville. He served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Madison and Mayo Baptist Church, and churches in Louisiana and Tennessee. Saint is a graduate of University of the State of New York, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Mountain Empire Bible College and Seminary. He and his wife, Judy, have one adult son.
Delaney Street Baptist Church will mark its 85th anniversary in a two-day celebration Sept. 14-15. First Baptist Church in Sebring has called Matthew D. Crawford as pastor. He most recently served as pastor of discipleship with First Baptist Church in Merritt Island, where he also served as minister of students 2003-2005 and during summers while a student at University of Central Florida in Orlando. He is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Philosophy. He and his wife Christie have two sons and are expecting a daughter in November.

Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater has called three new staff members: Wallace Costa is pastor of international missions. He served 10 years as international director for Judgment House, and previously served as pastor of several churches in Brazil, with Teen Missions international and as an interpreter for pastors and professors. He is a graduate of Baptist Theological College and Mackenzie University, both in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He and his wife, Sylvia, have one son. Ryan Bell will serve as worship leader on the East Lake Campus, and will participate in Saturday night worship on the Clearwater campus. He is a recent graduate of University of Mobile and served two churches while a student. He is a guitarist and song writer, and has recorded a CD. Justin Facenda is the new student pastor. He most recently served as student minister of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hartsville, S.C. Facenda is a graduate of Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, N.C. He and his wife, Carie, have three children.
