GRACEVILLE (BCF) After several years of record on-campus enrollment the Baptist College of Florida has also expanded its online enrollment by 97 percent since last year.
Prior to 2013 BCF saw three consecutive years of record numbers of first time students. More than 200 new students arrived to campus in 2010.
Enrollment success is due in part to a strong effort at recruiting. “Our recruiting numbers were higher this fall than last fall,” said Sandra Richards, BCF’s director of marketing and admissions.
Aside from the increase in online enrollment the campus still welcomes new residents. The new fall 2013 class gathered the second week of August for several orientation events, including an encouraging message from BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen.
Students moved into dorms,
obtained student ID cards, and registered for classes to prepare for the semester now in full swing.
