LAKELAND (FBCH)—Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and Orphan’s Heart during their Sept. 24–Nov. 3 annual Diaper Drive aim to collect 350,000 diapers on campuses across the state.
Every diaper donation, large or small, will make a difference in the lives of children in their care.
The two organizations use more than 30,000 diapers every month for children in foster care in Florida, as well as for children in desperate need in the developing world.
Leaders emphasize that all sizes of diapers are needed, but sizes 1-2 and size 3 are the ones most needed at this time.
Last year, the drive collected 300,000 diapers for hurting children.
In order to heighten the urgency of the project, the organizations will give away three free mission trips. Each individual, church and business that donates diapers will be entered to win a mission trip which will be an opportunity of a lifetime to impact lives for Christ throughout the world.
Churches and businesses that would like to host their own diaper drives for the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and Orphan’s Heart, please contact Katy Martin at 863-687-8811.
