CHIPOLA

Providence Baptist Church, Grand Ridge, has called Dallas Ellis as pastor. He previously served the church four years as music/student minister. Ellis is a graduate of Chipola College; West Florida University, Pensacola; and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Cathy, have three children.

GREATER ORLANDO

JACKSONVILLE

First Baptist Church, Orange Park, has called David Tarkington as senior pastor. He has served the church since 1994 as pastor to single and young married adults and as minister of youth and education. He is a graduate of University of North Texas, Denton, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. While in seminary, he served as minister of youth and education with David Boulevard Baptist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas. Tarkington and his wife, Tracy, have two children.

Medulla Baptist Church, Lakeland, honored Mike Latham July 17 on his 30th anniversary as minister of music/senior adults. Joining the Medulla staff in 1975 as minister of music/youth, Latham has served with six senior pastors and several interim pastors. He led in the development of the Pioneer Fellowship for senior adults, childrens’ choirs, hand bell choirs, orchestra, praise teams and beach yard Bible studies. He and his wife, Lorraine, have three children and four grandchildren.
