BEULAH

First Baptist Church in Olustee has called Mike Williams as pastor. An employee of Wal-Mart, Williams served as the church's interim pastor four years. He is a graduate of Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, and is married to Renee Williams.

CHOCTAW

First Baptist Church in Niceville has called Mike McGough as senior pastor. Licensed and ordained by the Niceville congregation in 1975, he served as pastor of churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Canada. He most recently was dean of the Joe L. Ingram School of Christian service at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, where he taught 19 years. He is a graduate of University of West Florida, Pensacola, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Nancy, have one son. Pastor McGough will be installed Feb. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

LAFAYETTE

Rock Sink Baptist Church in Old Town will hold its annual homecoming Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. Pastor Terry Cranford will speak and the Rock Bottom Singers will sing. A pot luck lunch will be served in the fellowship hall. For more information, call 352-542-9488.

LAKE COUNTY

First Baptist Church in Mt. Dora licensed Donald L. Morris to the Gospel ministry Jan. 7. A member of the church since 2003, Morris was a deacon and Sunday School class teacher, and is currently a student at Baptist College of Florida in Graceville. He, his wife, Donna, and two daughters recently moved to Mississippi.

MARION

First Baptist Church in Ocala will host a Florida Missionary Parents Retreat Feb. 23, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Alafia Baptist Church in Lithia has called Waylon Carlisle as pastor. He previously served as pastor of churches in Lake Wales and Plant City, and in Tennessee. Carlisle is a graduate of Carson Newman College, Jefferson City, Tenn., and Emanuel Baptist University, Connelly Springs, N.C. He and his wife, Jean, have four adult daughters, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

TAMPA BAY
