HIALEAH (FBW)—Focus on the Family and Florida Family Policy Council are sponsoring pastor and spouse gatherings in four Florida cities in June. The free half-day events will focus on “fellowship, renewal and encouragement,” according to a Focus on the Family press release.
Gatherings are planned for: Comunidad Cristiana La Roca Firme in Hialeah, June 12; First Baptist Church in Ft. Lauderdale, June 13; Calvary Baptist Church in Pensacola, June 26; and First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, June 27. Each gathering will begin at 8 a.m. and will conclude at noon.
H.B. London Jr. and Tom Minnery, both from Focus on the Family, will speak at the gatherings. The speakers will address cultural issues that relate to families and the church. The Hialeah meeting will have English/Spanish translation and is designed to attract Hispanic pastors and their wives.
