GAINESVILLE (FBW)-At the end of a celebration for fans to show their support for the BCS National Champion University of Florida football team today, Tim Tebow, last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, announced he will return for one more year.

“Oh, and by the way, one more thing,” Tebow said, halting briefly and throwing his arms in the air in a gesture of triumph as he was leaving the platform, “let’s do it again. I’m coming back.”

An already frenzied crowd erupted in applause at the conclusion of the hour and half rally which was scheduled 1-2 p.m. at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.

In a brief interview after the rally, Tebow, talked to a number of reporters on his way off the field.

“I prayed about it a long time and talked to a lot of coaches,” Tebow told SunSports. “I love being here. I’m having so much fun and want to stick it out here.”
