ORLANDO (FBW) – Pro-family organization Florida Family Policy Council released Jan. 17 a listing of events around the Sunshine State planned to observed the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion-on-demand in the United States.
The information is “provided by the FFPC for our supporters and to help promote the activities of other pro-life groups,” the Orlando-based group noted.

St. Lucie- Fort Pierce- March for Life: Treasure Coast, 1/19/13 at 11:30am, at "A Woman's World Medical Center" 503 S. 12th Street. The peaceful pro-life event will start at 11:30 a.m. at “A Woman’s World Medical Center” (the abortion clinic at the SW corner of Delaware Avenue and 12th Street in Fort Pierce) with 30 minutes of silent prayer in solidarity with the babies in the womb who cannot speak for themselves. The marchers will step off at noon for the short march (less than 1 mile) to the Fort Pierce City Hall (100 N. US1) where participants will witness and listen to pro-life speakers until 1:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring signs that proclaim the sanctity of human life. Churches/Groups are encouraged to bring signs mentioning their organization. A limited # of loaner signs (100) will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
